The Punisher: No Mercy to include Trophy support, more |
Ó

Zsolt Kigyossy of Zen Studios has given out a few details on the upcoming PlayStation network exclusive title, The Punisher: No Mercy. We've outlined them for you.
The game (which is an FPS, by the way) will feature the dark, smoky levels prevalent in today's crop of shooters, but it will also have a strong comic-influenced feel. It won't be purely multiplayer - there's also a single-player mode that tells the original story and lets player gain access to unlockables.
Character customization seems to revolve around special abilities. No mention was made regarding specifics, but these special abilities will give tactical benefits and can be chosen before battles commence.
There will be different weapons for close and long range fighting. Special weapons will also be included. Again, no specifics. All of the weapons can be upgraded by collecting frags or weapon power-ups.
The game will output at 30 FPS due to the huge GFX data. Zen Studios is targeting a total download size of below 1 gig, but Kigyozzy says that it could be hard to accomplish due again to the graphics. The Punisher: No Mercy will also feature full Trophy support.
A release date for The Punisher: No Mercy has yet to be determined. The same goes for the price. A trailer is scheduled to become available within the coming weeks.

That's not very big! I have demos that are larger than that. Still looks interesting though (especially as I'm addicted to Trophies).
was also under a gig, before the updates.
Good point mate. Can't remember to be honest. Warhawk may naturally be low in file size as it has no AI coding in it (no computer-controlled enemies). I don't know if that sort of coding takes a lot of room though! I'm getting The Punisher regardless :o)
Wait theres a new Punisher game coming out? Sweeet!!
yes finally i loved the one on ps2 absolutly awsome and hope this one is just as fun p.s does anyone know if it will have a single player mode also if there will be an option to play this in 3rd person thats the way its meant to be played im sure most will agree with me.
