"The PS3 scandal": Of foreigners and Japanese TV

I am a self-confessed anime freak. I go squeee at all things Japanese, and if I'd be given a chance to hop on the next plane to Japan, I sure would grab it. Getting a chance to be on Japanese TV is another.

Our source, who goes by the name, "nyago" ("getoffmyface" in YouTube) got that chance to be in Japanese limelight when he was asked to be a guest at "Bankisha" ("Reporter TV Program"). Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as expected, as dear nyago was edited out due to his opinion on the PS3.

The segment was about PS3s in eBay, and nyago said that although there are a lot of PS3s in eBay, the numbers aren't "indicative of demand, and the real prices being paid." He added that the most expensive unit costs around 1, 200 pounds, which no one has ever bid on. Guess that didn't sit well with the producers, so they decided to cut it entirely. Of course, that made nyago fume. Go check out the vids to see for you.

Man, I can't believe those people went all that trouble for the PS3 and they are sure making lots of money. Cool find.



Also these videos had there funny parts like when they voice masked that Chinese guys voice, when the lady at the end was playing the TRAIN SIMULATION GAME and said that it was VERY FUN, and when the old Japanese man was talking and couldn't be translated.



Oh yeah, that Brazilian chick was HOT.

Those ppl went thru all the trouble getting a ps3 from japan because they are huge demand for them in Hong kong and china. Poor japanese, dont have any ps3 to buy.

I dunno if I'll buy one or a mac... still dunno, but right now I think it'll be the ps3 :D, maybe in january(with genji) or feb(with bladestorm) or june(with MGS4), max july if I buy my mac ( because anyway I'll work all summer )

nothing wrong with it. no waiting 2 days in line for it. no paying more then it's worth. i only wish it was a 60GB, if thay could only make a firmware update that alows remote play using a wired connection with a wireless network, i would be set and would just buy a 120GB HDD. but i want that feture

i can't believe they dare to to do this, can't they hace patince and wait. the grandma was so kind in give ps3 to the family. japan has more excite than the other countries, in asia. china loves to pirate stuff quickly. it should be 1 ps3 per customer, like over here. then the wii next. do chinese even really understand the japanese language not really. something like slaries mentioned are mad to buy.
