The cast of The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena |

We already saw some videos where we got a few tidbits of the voice talents for The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PS3, Xbox 360) last Thursday, so now, we'll get some info on who will be the cast behind the characters of this new title from Atari.
Riddick - Vin Diesel
I don't think there's anyone who has a more hard-ass than Vin Diesel's voice. No, not even Gerard Butler as King Leonidas, Vin Diesel sounds so damn tough even when he's not screaming. If ever there was a God of War movie, I'd want him to be Kratos. Vin Diesel really fits the bill - Riddick is the toughest criminal in the galaxy, after all.
Dacher - Lance Henriksen
Hendricksen is a versatile character actor with a filmography with the size and quality of any Hollywood superstar. Some of his best performances were in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Terminator, and Alien vs. Predator.
Revas - Michelle Forbes
You've probably seen her make appearances in a lot of different TV shows. She was there in Star Trek, Seinfeld, and even Prison Break. Now she plays the role of Revas, the captain of the merc-ship Dark Athena.
Spinner - Wade Williams
Most of you would remember Wade Williams as Captain Brad Bellick on Prison Break. He plays a much similar role in Dark Athena as the loyal right-hand man of Revas.
Pavlo - Morgan Sheppard
This accomplished British actor has made many appearances onstage and on the big screen, most recently as Captain Witwicky in the Transformers blockbuster. Now he plays the schizophrenic prisoner aboard Dark Athena, who brings both clarity and confusion to Riddick.
Well that's a pretty solid cast, but will the game be as formidable as the voice talents behind it? We'll know when Chronicle of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena comes out in Spring 2009.

Vin Diesel would be a great Kratos. I can already hear him say "This is Sparta!!!". He needs to have to be angry the whole movie and that's hard.
I always wondered if Gerard Butler's King Leonidas voice was edited in some way.. I really doubt that the Phantom of the Opera guy can shout like that hahaha. But I can imagine Vin Diesel screaming "I am the God of War!!" hahaha

Diesel f'n rawks and I would love him as kratos! Tho... saying he's perfect for a role that he's played in 3 movies... isn't stretching your creative juices is it? Forgot Xzibit as what's his face! lol/
