The cake is not a lie: Sony sends out PS3 birthday cakes |

To celebrate the Sony PlayStation 3's first birthday, Sony sent out cakes with the PS3 pictured on top. There seems to be no official announcements and the number of cakes given away is still unknown, but the butter-cream frosted cakes are apparently from Sony's PR folks.
Since its launch back in November 17, 2006, the PS3 has seen a plethora of title releases on the platform. While it sometimes gets messy since Sony keeps on changing prices and making new bundles to help boost sales of the console, we can't deny that the next-gen gaming machine has given us gamers hours of great fun that deserve celebrating with cake.
