It's been a while since we last heard about Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's (SCEE) WipEout HD, the next-gen iteration about the most intense futuristic racer of all time. Now, we get not only delicious new eye candy of it, but also more details that should get us through until the next update. So, without further ado, here are the new details unveiled about WipEout HD:
- Full SIXAXIS support
- Tracks to consist of most popular tracks from previous games
- Mag-Strips: From WipEout Pulse, this little feature temporarily locks your ship onto the track.
- Seven Race Modes: Single Race, Tournament, Time Trial, Speed Lap, Zone Mode, Elimination and Head-2-Head.
- Race Campaign: A set of pre-determined racing events for the player to go through.
- New Weapons: The Repulser, Shuriken and Leach Beam.
- Photo Mode: Take in-game screenshots.
- Online Multiplayer: Up to 8 players online, along with Team versus Team mode.
- Community: A website built for player profiles, stats and bragging rights.
- Downloadable Content: game expansions, downloadable through PSN.

I never play wipeout since the first one... but the same track will not like the fans who follow the series... anyway the comunity thing is very cool... the same way that I like the singstar idea... my girlfriend is so in love of that game.. and guitar hero.. uff... anyway all the SCE game need this.. something new and fresh...
