Some hearts were broken after Capcom announced a new protagonist for Devil May Cry 4 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) that isn't Dante, but it seems the developers are right on track. After watching this trailer which rocked Tokyo Game Show 2007 grounds, we're speechless.

The series has always been spectacular, but this Devil May Cry 4 made tears of joy flow just by how gorgeous it looks. Gigantic bosses are more epic than ever, and the environments are detailed with superb lighting. Our new hero, Nero, has enough moves to rival Dante's arsenal, and he's got a chick who obviously has the hots for him to boot. Love story in DMC 4? Quite feasible after what we've seen.

Oh, did we mention that Trish and Lady (in black hair, no less) are here? That's right, you have no excuse not to watch the video below.

» Amazing.

I guess they are taking a more emotional approach to it this time around. I'm not gonna lie, it gave me the chills at the end.

» Where's the game?

That trailer sucked.. there wasnt a single frame of gameplay footage. Seriously, what is the point of showing a game off if you're not going to show the game off?

Its like showing the Mortal Kombat movie to promote a new Mortal Kombat game.

» Adios kid

This trailer never ceases to amaze me, it shows the same elements of what makes DMC just. It'll be interesting to see how a love story fits into a DMC game. I only hope it won't be a fail like number 2 :(
