Siliconera reports that Square Enix is highlighting a beta test through this trailer, though details on that cannot be found on the official site just yet. But if the publisher is planning a 2010 release worldwide, it's likely that they pick up the pace on that. Since TGS is all over the place right now, we might get more info on the matter in the next few days.

Umm forgive me if I'm an idiot but was that the harp melody from FF VII at the end of this video? Is it used commonly in FF games or is this a first?

thanks... I figured as much, bbut wanted to make sure.. I've never really played any other FF Games other tha FF VII and FF X-2 with all the girl power thing going on....
