Man, that was massive! About the only thing that I didn't like about it is that the actual game isn't hitting Western shores until next year, which right now seems like a awfully long wait.

The lip sinking is amazing! And the graphics, the fighting mechanics, the cut scenes, everything!
After all of this hype, and how good this game looks, this will be my FIRST FINAL FANTASY GAME EVER!!!!
13 games late, but hey none of the other games really connected so I think I'm good. Finally popping that cherry, so to speak... lol

It is only good (lipsyncing and otherwise) because it is in japanese....
I have been playing FF since number II (NA version, which was when I was like 8 so barely remember it) and even played VII in it's glory years....they were all great and they all had text for dialogue.
As soon as real voices took over instead of text, there was a huge drop in the quality of any japanese games that were localized for north america. This fact was reinforced when I started watching anime and could compare the voice acting of japanese to that of westerners.
I must say, unless it's a disney or pixar film and they are getting paid 100's of thousands for the part....it seems like no one gives a f*ck about voice acting in games or cartoons, more so when it is translation and coming from a foreign area.
It's like we all felt what was going on in this trailer, yet could not really understand anything...but the voice acting told us.
We will understand everything they are saying in the english version, but we wont feel any of it.
Anyone who watches the japanese version of naruto and has caught the english version on the cartoon network will know what I am talking about....
Basically that rant comes down to....I don't watch Japanese cartoons or movies in English, so I am not playing a Japanese game in English. So if they don't include the Japanese audio in the PS3 version, I am not buying it.....

The quality of this video is seriously bad. If possible, try downloading the Full HD 1080p version from the Japanese Store.
I was seriously thinking about getting this game, but after watching this trailer, I was sold.
@ Everyone who wants to "boykott" the game because it may have compromised by the 360 version:
SHUT UP AND BUY THE GAME FOR PS3.
yeah, it totally makes sense not buying the game and show the devs that they can't make money from the PS3 version, that's SOOO intelligent. What do you think the developers will do if they see their PS3 games sell bad? Obviously port them to 360 or don't make PS3 altogether. If the PS3 version of FFXIII sells bad, what do you think they will do with FF versus XIII?
If you really want to prove anything, encourage your friends, your family or just everyone you know to buy the PS3 version instead of the Xbox 360 version. That way, you really show Square-Enix what the fans are thinking.
