Terminator Salvation PC recalled, consoles and Steam version unaffected |
Ó
Total recall for Terminator Salvation on PC as Evolved Games received numerous complaints of error messages when installing the game. The publisher has now pulled out all retail copies of the game to fix the defect that "occurred during replication".From Evolved Games' press release:
Unfortunately a defect occurred during replication of the PC version of Terminator Salvation, which does not allow end users to install the game. The Xbox 360 and PS3 are not affected and function properly. We have recalled all PC copies of Terminator Salvation from retail in North America and are currently in the process of replicating new copies.
The new copies will be on store shelves in a few days. A replacement plan for all end users that purchased the defective units is currently being set up. Details to get a replacement copy will be announced shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the end users that purchased the defective copy.
So there you go. New copies will be on stock soon, as well as a replacement plan. By the way, digital copies of the game sold via Steam is not affected, Valve reassures. Same for the PS3 and Xbox 360 - they remain clear of this defect, according to Evolved.

i like terminator 2 and sarah connor movie but the games are some stupid bull
I could finish it around 4.5 hours and I wasn't even rushing myself. So some of you l33t gamers can probably do it under 3. There is no boss in the game unless you count the HK or the first T-800 as one... (not entirely true.. you get to see one but you just had to run and later on you get to be IT for a while) The story is like a 60min tv show. It was fun for a while but then it is just all the same. They could throw a lot more at you at the end but they didn't bother. I was playing in default normal .. may be the harder level is more challenging...
this game was real easy and at times annoying cause you have guns but they dont work towards killing the machines so why use guns and just use bombs only.
enought shooting games: Resistance, Killzone2, Unreal Tournament, and Fallout 3.
"which does not allow end users to install the game"
...Are you *****ing kidding me? I mean, some games come out, and flop terribly, because it's obvious the developers didn't test the game properly. But...this doesn't even install. At all. Which means they didn't play the game once...
What the ***** are they making games for? I'm fresh out of secondary school and I know that that's a ***** idea.
