If The Internet Movie Database, or IMDb, has it right, then we're looking at the stars cast for the upcoming film based on the Namco Bandai fighting game series, Tekken. As it is, the cast listing indicates that Jackie Chan, WWE Superstar Dave Batista, and Ron Perlman are all in it. Who're they playing? Read up and find out.

Lei Wulong - Jackie Chan - Image 1

To no surprise at all, Jackie Chan plays Lei Wulong. No argument here. The wrestler Batista plays the wrestler King, which is actually quite an interesting choice. Batista is huge, and he would have absolutely no problem chain-grabbing people on-set. Last is Ron Perlman, who plays Paul Phoenix. He already has the hair, they just need to yank it up a few more inches.

No matter who's playing who, however, I can't help but be so protective of my beloved Tekken. Hopefully, the Tekken movie will not go the way of DoA and Street Fighter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Damn right Jackie plays Lei, Lei was loosely based of jackie to start with, the looks the fighting style (drunken fist) and being a cop (police story)!

» Good casting

Out of all the upcoming movies base on fighting game, Tekken have the most promising cast. At least alot of them have an actual martial art background.

» BS in a pure form

I do like Jackie Chan and a bunch of asian actors BUT "The Forbidden Kingdom" did suck.

I could care less about the script but the fighting scenes killed it. Why? There was almost none.

End of story.

Just give me some Jet Li with a *****load of fighting scenes... something like The One.. Or that Thai guy Tony Jaa (Did you noticed that the story behind the whole movie sucked balls?) but it did had awesome scenes

» ok

but jackie chan is rich, and he produces his own movies. why would he decide to be casted in a movie with a lame script...money? i highly doubt it...if they payed him a buttload so he could be in the cast than they should have enough money for a good writer

If you actually watch some of Jackie's interview (mostly the one in Hong Kong) he stated that he loves making movies for his fan and money wasn't the reason he's acting.

They should cast Stephen Chow as Law. He does a very good impersonation of Bruce Lee and he sort of look like him too.

» It's a shame really

I mean Marshall Law was my favorite character and he was based off Bruce Lee. Who's going to play him well enough?

I mean, they could bring the actor who played him in the bruce lee story movie or the guy who played Liu Kang. Since that's isn't bad choices but damn

That looks like a dirty cos-play wig that he's wearing. He's also way too wrinkly to play Lei. Non the less, he's still got talent to make the movie interesting.

» @narutosaiyan

the majority of jackie chan movie's are retarded. "who am i?" ring a bell or that movie where his brother is retarded and there is no fighting at all? god that movie sucked

but that being said, jackie chan is awesome. HE DOES HIS OWN STUNTS!!!!
