Tekken 6 details reveal the truth, I am a woman. - Image 1Everyone wants to know more about Namco Bandai's Tekken 6 for Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3). Who can blame them considering this video game is probably one of the most popular fighting games in the world? SD Tekken in its recent article posted information on the game. It got the details from issue of Arcadia Magazine  where Katsuhiro Harada, the producer of Tekken 6, was interviewed. So what new details were found?

Aside from the fact that the animations have been changed for every character, it has been revealed that all characters will have an “item move” (just like the Bryan using the shotgun in the trailer). It should be noted that not all moves will be equally powerful (i.e. Anna throwing her high heels at her opponents is her character's item move).

Yoshimitsu has undergone a major overhaul. Harada noted that Yoshimitsu is much more difficult to use now and can be considered an "Expert" character. He also said that in the storyline, his sword is now losing power and he must use new fighting style: Kenjutsu from the Manji clan. This style incorporates dual sword fighting and fist fighting.

Lei Wulong fans might be a bit unnerved to learn that his laying down stances have been changed. To be more precise, SD Tekken has compared the new stance to Lei Fei's and Shun Di's laying down stance from Virtua Fighter 5. Some changes were also implemented regarding Lei being counter-hit or juggled from his laying down stances.

Marshall Law was also overhauled - SD Tekken said that Bruce Lee and Jeet Kun Do fans would be pleased by these changes. Could it be that he is now more flexible as a character, with more avenues of attack?

The final and perhaps most groundbreaking revelation from Harada is his re-confirmation that Leo is a indeed a girl. This has ended the long standing feud among the QJ bloggers regarding her gender.

Tekken 6 is set to be released next year for the PS3. We are anxiously waiting to see if the game becomes as popular as the previous iterations of the game have.

i dont care about characters changes.

all i want is online multiplayer? thats the online thing that can make any fighter worth playing.

single player is only fun the first week? unless your friends can come over every day which is not going to happen cause everyone has his life.

of caurse grafics must be nextgen.

i am going only buy the figther with online multiplayer for my ps3.

i think i will buy this game,

i have tekken, tekken 2, tekken 3, tekken tag tournament, tekken 4, tekken 5, tekken dark ressurection. i dont have the latest ps3 version because of the ccard, ill purchase it when the playstation prepaid card comes out.

and yes we want online multiplayer matching, lobby, and trash talk support, and if possible eyetoy support where there will be small pictures of the 2 players fighting right beside the character name slightly below the health bar or just on the corner / bottom of the screen.

the reason there are "?"s instead of "."s is because i posted that comment from my ps3, and apparently its a bug, cause i am sure i typed DOTs not the "?"s, so not my fault go blame sony.

Secondly english is my FIFTH LANGUAGE, and its only about 5 months sins i started studying it.

how about you try studying my mother language for 5 months and try posting a comment here, i bet you wont be able to make 1 COMPLELE UNDERSTANDABLE sentence (putting aside the other 3 languages).

still i will forgive you both becuase you did not know this info about me and your still young thats probably why you jump to conclusions so fast.

btw next time try to comment on the article...

I hope the characters' stories will clear up more things and make a little more sense than in Tekken 5.
