Team Xecuter confirms Paradox exploit: pimps PS3 Hyperdrive |

The word on some forums is that Hyperdrive and Paradox loader">Team Xecuter will be releasing a simple "adapter" for the PS3 that is cheap and easy to use. It is reported that the "adapter" is set to work with their still-upcoming PS3 Hyperdrive. The adapter will be ready in 3 weeks in time for Paradox Loader, which is real, and works/loads in a method that is "similar to psp"If in case you're a bit confused, we'll run through it again for you. Remember those rumors about a PS3 ISO loader by Internet release group paradox? The one Max F. reported on last December, and the one we reported to be undergoing testing around a week ago? Well, a post by Xecuter on the Team Xecuter forums confirms that the Paradox Loader works. He says:
I am releasing a simple adapter first that is cheap and easy to use - will be ready in 3 weeks in time for Paradox Loader (which works)
The adapter Xecuter was talking about, is an early release just so that PS3 users can hook up larger drives with ease while while they wait for the PS3 Hyperdrive. Xecuter says that what we're waiting for should work well in tandem with the Loader. The Hyperdrive is set to have the following features:
- Connect any 3.5" SATA Hard Drive to the PS3
- Developing ability to connect IDE hard drive
- Supports up to 750GB (maybe more thats all we have here)
- Switch between external HYPERDRIVE and internal 2.5" HDD
- HYPERDRIVE USB2.0 Support to dump data to/from HDD

Team Xecuter also confirmed the Devil360 modchip which was bull***** in the end. However I do trust Paradox more then I trust Team Xecuter.

I don't give a *****, I am just buying the best of the best games and not lowering to piracy. I end up enjoying my games less when they come ripped off the internet.
these ppl cant wait just a little longer. damn less than three months and they wanna burn the console to the ground.i can only expect the prices for games be even higher.
As a game artist I can only say that it is sad that there are people out there that will steal games and bring harm to the livelyhood of the people that work hard on these games. These games take alot of resources to produce and I can personally tell you that we spend alot of time and effort (without any really great pay) to give gamers the most enjoyable experience possible. Our time and freedom to spend with our families is cut down greatly so that we can produce the very best experience because we take pride in what we do. But pirates and the people who support them take us for granted. Qj in a way is supporting this by reporting the existance of such things.
where i am from people cant spend half the 60$ for a game. i try buying the official copy for games that greatly prefer[if i find an original copy],but i simply cant pay 60$ for every game i want to play. while i wish the creators get repaid for the hardwork,i simply cant pay that much,i wish i can but i cant and i have a passion for gaming so dont say something stupid like finding another hobby,and no i am not encouraging piracy i am just saying that there are many people in many regions in this world aside from america and europe who enjoy games more but simply cant pay the hefty price. its not the developers fault,but its not mine either.
its piracy in the first place that increases the cost of the games. its much like movie tickets prices which have increased because of piracy. i do understand that some ppl cant afford the games. everyone knows how much the games cost before they purchase the console . there is always a work around for those who cant afford it (used games, borrow games,rent games). im not attacking those who cant pay , your business is your business. i believe most people who pirate games are those can afford to buy them.thats the irony of it, after all they spend their money upgrading their equipment so they can pirate the games. "oh theres no games for the psp" or "why are the games for the psp so *****ty" more than half the ppl who complain are the ones pirating the first good game that comes out. WTf is a game company to do. moreover , i cant even imagine how it would feel to develop a game for 7 months and the day it comes out you open your browser type google "name of game " then torrent and all you hard work is there for the taking. you can even see how many ppl didnt pay for the game. its all bs. i wish the psp woundt have been dowgraded past 1.5 im sure most games would have been alot better
so what about devhook? doesnt devhook and others that loads PSP ISO? are they illegal? why are they at the download section of QJ?
This is purley speculation as I don’t really know anything about this stuff and can be classified a true noob. But this ISO loader will only be able to load ISO’s which require firmware 1.32 and bellow right? What does this do to new games? Something like devhook will save the scene perhaps? Or is it possible to decrypt the newere firwmares as well?
yeah its cool on the psp but they are just going to start trying to stop us from running software on our ps3 all together because of things like this
ISO loaders are not illigal, as long as you own the game you are backing up. no laws are broken in distrubuting such tools. As long as they contain intellectual property. After all, a gun can be used in a very illegal was yet are distributed legally.
Not that I condone piracy, but... The gaming industry is pulling more money now then it ever has. There is sooooooo many people gaming now, and we have the Wii to thank for a new generation of gamers. Ever year there is a report about how the industry is going by this many billions. To say piracy is pushing up the price of gaming is a JOKE! Games like Lost Planet spend 40 million dollars on developing and advertising that game. Big game budgets like that are pushing up the cost of gaming. However, publishers have a lot more options this generation with xbox live arcade, add-on content and a booming handheld industry. Piracy is bad, but don't cry a river for the publishers, there is plenty of money to be made in gaming.
Not every game has the budget of lost planet. thats a major tittle. if everygame was a big deal like lost planet then you would not have the other tittles that sit on the shelves because are not good enough to be purchased. we've all heard it "ill buy AAA tittles" what about the lil guys ;( big companies spend big bucks and know they can afford the margins but some cant. R.I.P dreamcast. yea its true its not to cry a river over , there are fat cats who still like to pull millions of dollars while they sit there looking at their gold pens.you must admit its pretty early for a console to get cracked.

iso loaders are illegal because ripping a blu-ray breaks it's encryption. Sorry, you lose.
Piracy will be cut down based soley on the size of the games now....especially PS3 games. I pirate ALOT, but the thing is it's mainly just to try a game out, see what they could do with the system and what's going on, etc...not to really play it....and if I had no option but to pay for it to "try" it, I wouldn't bother anyways. So I think in alot of cases they are not losing out, because people are downloading games ONLY because it's so easy and wouldn't pay for it or even bother renting it otherwise....not because they were going to buy the game, then decided to get it for free. I am highly capable of flashing my 360, but not bothering, they give you plenty of demos to "try" out the games, and the few good ones I want to buy I don't mind shelling out $60 (only for 3 games so far, in a year of owning it) But I finished those games and still play them (mainly GoW) Whereas when I pirated them, I usually had so many to play that I never really spent alot of time with one game and never really felt the need to finish a game, since I didn't pay.... Overall I am enjoying not pirating my games alot better this generation.... And to those who say you can't afford it....How did you afford the $400-600 dollar system ? Also, saying to get a new hobby is valid....if you have to support an "Addiction" of yours by stealing....well, you sound like a crack addict....
ok the PSP deserved to have ISO's happen to it. Sony didn't think that handheld through enough. I use a few ISO's on my PSP but I don't enjoy it. Doing this to the ps3 will make Sony lock up the ps3 like the PSP. Eg: Making it harder to run OS/features on it. They'll stop focusing on improving the PSP and focus on stopping hacks and ISO's. It will turn the ps3 into a crappy version of the psp.

will it load off the game os? or will i have to enter another GUI interface and load the game like previous versions of devhook.
