Team Ninja supports PS3, complaining devs get out |

When we say Sony's got good things going, we're not just talking about new PS3 firmwares or groundbreaking announcements. When the world's greatest female action character graces a console, you just know something's special. Fortunately, that's not all Sony would brag about. When we say good things, we mean commitment from prominent game developers such as Team Ninja.
Yosuke Hayashi, the same man who made the PS3 smoke, dropped a few words to express his loyalty to Ninja Gaiden Sigma's home.
"There are some developers who have complained about the difficulty of developing for PS3. But, I am a creator, a developer - and by making a product, we receive money from the players. We shouldn't complain about the difficulty," he said, referring to other devs that find the console too complex.
"If they think it's difficult, they should get out of the ring," he continued. This can only mean one thing: Hayashi is here to stay for the PS3. "As I said, people who complain about the difficulty of creating games for PS3 should get out, right? While I'm saying that kind of thing, if I get out myself, then what I say doesn't mean anything! So, I should stay - right?"
Got it? Not surprising if you didn't. All we know, Team Ninja's set for some more action with Sony in the near future.

Failing at launch wasnt enough for sony, It seems they want to lose again. on the same console none the less.
For me it doesnt matter how much news sony pulls out of it ass about the ps3.
Its the sega saturn/neo geo of todays market.
Sure It will have a few killer titles.
But it has a small install base.
its losing thrid party support. And if team ninja thinks ninja gaiden is gonna turn the ps3 into something other then and over price bbw grill. they'er setting themselves up for failure too.

Anywayz, I always said it, this guy is always goin to go for the console with the most power, he just simply likes power.

At this point sony is in trouble. All this ps3 news that has flooded the scene lately is abnormal.
To be honest. I cant understand how people are unable to see a blatent sony driven market campaign, when its right before there eyes.
The ps3 is a miserible failure, In terms of sales anyway.
Sony is desperate to keep its name in the media.
All this talk of ninja gaiden sigma, silencing ps3 critics. It doesnt matter how great ninja gaiden sigma is graphicly. Its a port of an older game,..
Its not going to change the face of the gameing world in any way shape or form.
The ps3 is a good as dead. thats the bottom line.

what difference does your "mega huge dvd collection" have to do with it?its not like you have to re-buy them is it... this isn't like swapping from vhs to dvd all over again where the dvd didnt work in your vhs player
the only thing the same is the difference in quality
"does the ps3 have wifi and the ability to play blueray movies right out of the box? "
are you joking

I would waste more of my time typing why you're statements have nothing to do with actual business or even logic but I'm sure anyone with half a brain reading it will do the math themselves.

I agree that devs who don't utilize the true potential of the PS3 needs to get out as to not bring about lame and sorry "games" for the PS3.
Only thing I wish is that ports or multiplatform games for the PS3 up the graphics and utilize the true capacity of the blu ray and the PS3 when they are programming instead of dumbing down to the lowest common dominator so as not to offend MS' or Nintendo's rabid fans.

anyway it started will the ps3 being high tech with blu ray so that games wouldnt have to be compressed or easly scratched up...they took big jumps and the 360 tryed to pull on a leg with a hddvd add on...yet it didnt work so the 360 got kicked, so now blu ray is leading the way of future formats....all i am saying is you could have ended your comment at "format war" instead of flaming at the end;)

It can be used as an access point for the PSP, has card readers, works with USB hard drives, able to boot linux, etc.

He is talking about he comitment to the PS3 right now, as Sigma has not released, but it will be soon.
I'm not sure, but I think you may all be forgetting that Hayashi is Itagaki's underling, and makes no decisions.
If anyone follows team ninja (as i do, because I think they rock) you would know that Itagaki allowed Hayashi to do a port as they were between major products and were able to spare the man power. Now, respect to Hayashi, as he has the Team Ninja mentality, but no matter how much he likes the PS3, if Itagaki says get to work on NG 2 for the 360, he will have to do it....
Team Ninja is a very small development house, compared to giants like EA and Ubi, and generaly can only devote resources to one major project. Since DOAX released for 360, they have been working on NG re-hashed for DS and PS3, and could split up their team. After those they are going to work on NG 2, and will be only able to support one next gen console at a time.....and if you don't know which one it is, you need to do some reading....

True there isn't alot of info yet, but give it a few more months and you will what real online gaming is all about. The fact is sony isnt lost or done its just getting started. The xbox was in the same boat as the ps3 is there first year. Anyone who says other wise are ignorant.
