Team Ico working on PS3 title |

CVG reports that the latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Team Ico, the people behind Shadow of the Colossus, is currently working on a new title for the Sony PS3.
While the said Famitsu issue didn't have any further details regarding Team Ico's new project, the team's track record has us pretty stoked to see what they come up with next. On a more personal note, I hope it's not as sad as Shadow of the Colossus turned out to be. I mean, come on, it wasn't as if they were attacking some town or anything. Yeah, alright, you were supposed to be doing it for your girl but still, I actually felt sad each time one of those behemoths toppled to the ground.
Anyway, we'll be keeping an eye out for any Team Ico-related news. If all goes well, more details will surface before the year is out.

the colossus never did anything to him! Every time i killed one, i felt alittle sympathy. Especially when their freaking shadow stands over you every time you appear at the cathedral.
these devels are truly geniuses. Im sure they will pull out a sensational adventure for people who likes something more than shooting and jumping. SotC showed that a game can produce emotions beyond simply fun, surely SONY and its first party producers are exploring deeper in this kind of games.

well alan wake is 1 game and its not even an exclusive i can get it on my pc. the reason why i have both is because i feel sony is better weith adventure rpgs and fighters while my 360 covers the shoorters end including 3rd and 1st person

brother I really was thinking about Heavy Rain and the SotC itself, but Alan Wake sounds interesting I hope to play it sometime.

But then Mr Money bags came along and all of the sudden it's a 360 PC exclusive. But that's alright. Sony still has plenty of great exclusives coming up like Heavenly Sword, Final Fantasy XIII, Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain to name a few. So I'm not worried. Plus I have a 360 anyways.

Shadow of the Colossus was a game of mass genocide. Albeit a very fun and pretty game of mass genocide, but genocide nonetheless.

I doubt it will be a sequel, because team Ico seems too creative to do that, but I do hope it will have the same mechanics as Shadow of the Colossus did.
