Team ICO revemps career page, shows off first Ico 3 screenshot? |

With a simple redesign of their career page on the SCEI website, Team ICO has once again kindled the interest of gamers who loved the development company's previous offerings, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.
Team ICO career page - which apparently states that the studio is looking for artists, animators and other people for their new PS3 project - now shows what appears to be a shot of a well. That, or it's a shot of a sort of anchor that's supposed to keep something chained to it from roaming around too much. Canyons were also connected to the team's PS3 project, so maybe it's a plughole? A drain maybe?
Whatever it is, you can check it out up top. Note the shadow near the top portion of the shot. Whatever that chain's attached to, it seems pretty big. There's no concrete info yet on what Team ICO is currently working on, but speculation that it's Ico 3 - or at least a title set in the Ico universe - still runs high.
Anyway, even though this shot could turn out to be nothing at all, it's good to know that Team ICO's still working hard on their PS3 project. We'll bring you whatever info we find about this new project as soon as we can.

How would there be an Ico 3 when there hasn't even been an Ico 2? Shadow of the Colossus isn't Ico 2 (spiritual successor =/= sequel). Besides, I didn't even like Ico but I loved SotC. I hope it is SotC 2. Maybe the chain is holding one of the colossus or something. o_0
i really doubt a sequel to any game. Thats not their style and i would hate them for it.

SOTC was based on the same as ico... that`s why it can be considered ico 2
SOTC2. or something equally as awesome.
Ico and SotC are seperate except for the same feels of the worlds and small references in sotc back to Ico.
Tho, I loved both titles. Ico is a little slower of a game but it's so well done and a great game to play. SotC brought a whole new beast to that design and I can't f'n wait to see what they can do with the PS3 and their third game.

At the end of SotC, the main character was sucked into the abyss of just such a well after taking the form of one badas$ shadow monster... Maybe the shadow creatures who used the main character in the game are helping him back from the abyss with the chain!
SotC was originally going to be Ico 2, or "Nico". So basically, Shadow of the Colossus can be thought of as Ico, since both are set in the same universe and such.. But whatever. And that well looks like the one Wander got sucked into at the end of SotC, so this could be Ico 3/SotC 2.
Watching all the way through to the end, it is revealed that Wanderer turned into a baby horned kid from Ico, and the corpse of the girl became the glowing girl from Ico.
