Here's some more Tales news. Namco Bandai also officially announced the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) at the same press event that gave us the official Tales of VS announcement.

The announcement didn't shed a lot of light on the differences between the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of Vesperia, but there is a new character called Patty (Patti?) Fleur who sports a wicked little pirate outfit.

Other features include a fully voiced main scenario, new event scenes and new sub-scenarios. A promo vid is supposed to go up on the Japanese PlayStation Store later this month, so if you have a Japanese PSN account keep an eye peeled for it.

For the hardcore fans (or those just looking to broaden the Versperia experience), Namco Bandai also announced a new animated movie called "Tales of Vesperia ~ The First Strike ~" that should hit theaters in Japan this year.

A port of yet another mediocre RPG from the 360? No thanks. Maybe if they make an exclusive Tales game for PS3 I would've bought it. I played the 360's Vesperia and it was one of the worst games in the series that I have played. I wouldn't want the same thing for the PS3. I guess these companies never learn that people hate ports. I can't wait to watch the sales flop though. I think only Tecmo/Team Ninja knows WTF they're doing when it comes to porting games over (as they REMAKE them such as Ninja Gaiden Sigma & Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2). It's a shame all of these other companies are too stupid these days.
