Zelnick Strauss - Image 1Take-Two Interactive's chairman Strauss Zelnick still won't spill the beans about the exact release date of the much-awaited - and much-delayed - Grand Theft Auto 4 for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. We currently know that the game is going to be released sometime in Spring next year, though the gaming public is still in the dark about when exactly .

Zelnick said that they will announce the date only when they're sure that the game is ready for release. "Right now our view is to put out a high quality title and we're not in the business of disappointing investors," he added.

The chairman said that he is not concerned about Grand Theft Auto 4 missing a high-revenue Christmas release, saying that GTA4's reputation alone as a must-have title will be enough to make it successful in terms of sales.

As for Grand Theft Auto 4's downloadable content, Zelnick said that while it's going to be available, it will not be very significant and Take Two will not rely on the game's exclusive downloadable content for revenue.
