Steinberg, Wells on Blu-Ray victory, future format of Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, more

Evan Wells, co-president of Naughty Dog, and Scott Steinberg, VP of product marketing for Sony, sat down for a short interview. Good thing we were able to grab the video interview just for you. We're sure you guys will be enjoying what the two had to say.

In the video, Wells and Steinberg gave their two cents regarding the victory of Blu-ray over HD-DVD. In addition to this they were able to give their opinion that Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 should be released in a 50GB Blu-ray disc because of its content. Furthermore, they said that 2008 would be the year of the PS3 due to...a lot of reasons.

Simply because it may cost a lot to buy them all? All I heard for the last year coming from the 360 camp is how many great games they have. Now its the PS3's turn. You can rent all of those games for the price of buying one. Blockbuster rents games for a month and a half. You can beat every one of those games in a month and a half if you really wanted to.

The 360 has a lot of good games coming this year.I'm not gonna mention since this isn't the 360 section.I would just like to see who wins this time around it'll be funny if, and highly possible if GeoW 2 still beats this game out even after the team had experience with the ps3 and have a 50gb disc.

That Gears of War 2 will be multi-platform? I know the 360 was going to add a Blu-Ray player, but I thought they weren't going to start using it as format for their games, just movies. And if this is the case will consumers of the 1st generation 360 have to buy the new Blu-Ray 360 or the 200+ dollar Blu-Ray add on for Blu-Ray that will come out for the 360 in order to play Gears of War 2? Basically Microsoft just slapped everyone who bought a 1st generation 360 in the face if Gears of War is going to remain a 360 exclusive.

Possibilities of the release of Final Fantasy XIII and White Knight Story, about time we got some PS3 RPGs. I'm sure there are a ton of other great RPGs coming out too.

They dont sell top of the range tech. They sell near obsolete products that level up with/lag behind current tech.



they constantly make upgdes. we are left with no choice but to spend.



for our best interest, it is best they leave the gaming market
