S.T.A.L.K.E.R. heading to consoles? |

Apparently, Call of Pripyat isn't the only thing GSC Game World has baking in its oven. Russian games magazine Igromani, which recently blew the lid off on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat via a feature article, has reportedly revealed that there's also a console port of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in the works.
The piece didn't elaborate on which particular S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game is being cleaned up for a console release, but it's most likely Shadow of Chernobyl. Target platforms weren't mentioned either, but most likely it's for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
In terms of the current life expectancy of news in the Internet age, this is old. However, I'm a big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fanboy and I know several people who have been clamoring for GSC Game World to bring the series to consoles, so there. I am officially stoked. Typing that title out is still so annoying though.

Awesome, maybe this will help curb some of the piracy this series has faced. And yeah the title is really annoying to type.
Marvelous. If S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was released on consoles it would receive more attention, attention it deserves. :) Just please don't bring Clear Sky to consoles. Sure, the area was more busy but it completely killed the atmosphere the game was meant to have had.
I was a STALKER (screw the periods!) fanboy since I saw the game back in 2007. Due to piracy and a lot of gamer's rigs not being up to par to run the game, it'd be awesome to have a port on consoles.
STALKER is a great game, first FPS in a long time that's not really like any other. That game has one of the best atmospheres in gaming. I've beat it a couple times on PC and I'd still buy it day one on console Just hope it looks the same as the PC version does when maxed and gets good frames, game is beautiful.
I'm actually hoping to see this come to the ps3/ 360 i tried playing it some on my comp and it dosent run well but ive seen it on my friends comp running smooth and its just a game we have to experience on our systems
