A couple of months back, speculations were running high as to a Square Enix announcement regarding the patent of the title Lord of Vermillion. And then came the confirmation. Fast forward to today and we now have the official unveiling from Square Enix - and with assets to boot  - to brighten up the day of all the fans out there, thanks to Famitsu.

The game is set in (according to Google Translate) a "fantasy world of trading card." It also appears that online and multiplayer play is a shoo-in for Lord of Vermillion so it ought to bring more gaming goodness to the world of the PS3.

This would be the first original arcade title for Square Enix. Check out the screenshots and artwork below!
