Square Enix reveals FFXIII and FF Versus XIII videos

If you haven't had the opportunity yet to see what Square Enix's Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy Versus 13are like, you're in luck. Square Enix has revealed extended trailers for both games, and from what we've seen, it looks like Final Fantasy fans won't be disappointed.

Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII extended video features main protagonist Lightning doing what she does best: defying gravity, kicking behind and taking names with her "gunblade," Advent Children-style. Of special interest to note are the bullet time-like Overclock system and the two females who merge to become a motorcycle.

The Final Fantasy Versus XIII video, on the other hand, shows the Square Enix's melancholy protagonist tearing the members of a hit squad to pieces (yes, with blood included). His method of disposing of them is an interesting one: it appears to be a cross between Cloud's Omnislash from Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children and Gilgamesh's Gates of Babylon from the Fate Stay Night anime.

Yep, this game looks awesome. Love the way it has gone back to a Techno-Fantasy setting.

A "Killer App" is one that will blow away the competition. So far, only UT3 comes under that category.

I play my PS3 more than the other 2 other consoles, but only because there are a plethora of PS2 games I still haven't played yet...

Yes, this game and Rachet and Clank does want me to get a PS3. The graphics are amazing, and everyone wants to play as a chick wielding a gunblade that can kick our butts. That is a girl, right? I get confused when it comes to Final Fantasy XD The ending of the clip was kind of random, though. At least show the guy fighting a little more than simply shooting from a motorcycle.

But nothing i would say mind blows anything. I seen most of the FF13 trailer before. So its nothing new, other than Shiva and all. But lighting does look hott.

Yea the FF13 Versus guy is crazy love that trailer. Im still going to get this though, even if i wasn't too impressed with the first trailer.

Sorry Man Ive Brought Heavenly Sword And Uncharted Both To Easy And Were Beat In Five Days Not Really Killer Must Have Titles More Like U rent It Beat It And Thats It. UT3 Not My Type Of Game And Oblivion Can Be Played on 360 Warhawk is A Disappointment From What Was ORIGINALLY Promised And Rachet And WHO??? Lair Was Amazing And Im Looking Foward To Haze But As Of Right Now The 360 Is Better And The Wii Is Just FUN to Play. I Know My Games Dude the PS3 Could Be SO MUCH BETTER WITH ALL ITS POWER
