Split-screen online play, Blu-Ray bonus disc confirmed for Resistance 2 |
Ó
Sony is continuing their Resistance 2 blitz with more info on the game's features, including some very good news for those asking for split-screen coop.
According to James Stevenson, Insomniac Gaes' community relations manager, will feature split-screen online play for both the 60-player online competitive play mode and the 8-player online co-op campaign. Take note though that the game's campaign mode is strictly for one player only.
The bonus disc in the Resistance 2 collector's edition has also been confirmed to be a Blu-ray disc instead of the usual DVD offering. Unfortunately, it looks like Europe won't be getting the collector's edition as SCEE has chosen not to release it in its territories.

ill buy it just for the split screen online play
if there is no more offline split screen, then this is not good.
i really like the split screen campagin in resistance (1).
now i dont have to play with my sucky-gamer brother who just happened to like resistance 1 a lot
did you hear stupid muslims delayed little big planet stupid muslims now i hate muslims
Just another cult
Please stop being such an @ss.
Really.
It's morons like you that shouldn't be allowed to play online games.
The muslims had the right to be offended, as something from their religion was used in the game, something that they found to be very offensive.
If you cant understand that much then you are one big jerk.
Also dude seriously, it's just a 1 week delay.
You cant wait 1 week?!
People have become so impatient these days..
Thanks for removing my posts...I try to defend the muslims, and my posts get removed.
Someone on the other news pages talks about sucking ****, and his post remains..
Which post?
well, in Europe it's still delayed untill november something...
im not sure wether that has something to do with the qu'ran thing, though you gotta admit that they are a bit too sensitive i mean; a word combination that just happens to be the same as a sentence from the qu'ran, and they freak out (again)...
anyway; LBP is still delayed here in Europe! (according to all the shops)
whats the point with buying the game, and not playing the story mode?
if the song said jesus was a homo. most of you would be offended. Muslims were offended because it is part of their beliefs not to mix their religious writings with music.
just because you immature brats arent offended doesnt mean *****.
@chuckingrocks
another cult? ***** you. im pretty sure Islam was here first you retard.
@touchdaskeleto n go put your ***** in a light socket
no i am not muslim but i come from somewhere that raised me to respect all creeds equally
well if you just knew how many website that says something like that (JESUS + HOMO) and does it touch the most of us, no (atleast not me :D)
i get your point, but THEY are also making thoose websites (the "esus + home"-stuff) so i think they should just take it a bit eaiser, when they don't know how to respect others beliefs aswell (directly translated from danish), thats; double-mortality!
well WE are of course also making such sites about their beliefs, and ours xD, and of course it's not "funny" to get told that what you believe in is pure crap.. bla bla bla, vut they are not much better themselves.
(very) few people are reacting when JESUS is being spoken of as a homo (or something else), but almost every "alah believer" (makes it sound less racistic) is freaking when their profet is being called "weird"...
hmm, it semms i can't get to my point... i give up, but i think i put in some things to think about, i hope :)
