Spiderman3On May 2007, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst reprise their roles in the third installment of the Spiderman movies. But the friendly neighborhood superhero will not only be swinging to the movie theaters but to the next-gen consoles as well.

Activision brings Spiderman 3 to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Spiderman will again be protecting the City of Manhattan this time against the Sandman and an alien symbiote (Venom?!).

Since the game is is still in production, there's not much details on the gameplay yet. However, that doesn't mean there are no sneak peeks as well. QJ has the latest Spiderman 3 trailer for your viewing pleasure.

Reports say that this time out, the web-slinger will be donned in black both in the movie and the videogame. However, the trailer still show the superhero in his usual red and blue costume. I guess we have to wait a year before we confirm what the web-slinger will be wearing. Meanwhile, click the download link and see Spidey in action.

Spiderman appears in the Red & Blue costume in the film. This has been confirmed, there are movies of the filming which prove this. The black must only pay part of the story.

I wonder if this game will make use of the PS3's tilt controller, where you can lean into webswinging and controlling acorbatic jumps.

» Ohhh Wii

Look at this trend: PS3 have exclusives, x360 have exclusives, Wii have exclusives BUT multi-platform are only between PS3 an x360.

That will put Wii in a very difficult situation, even more than GameCube.

I think that is happening because Wii is extremely underpowered.

See you.

» Wii gets different

I heard that they are making a different game for the Wii with Spider-Man 3. It's just for the Wii using the Controller a special way.

i hope they make it so you can use your web abilities and attacks on everyone and everything, so cars, people, etc.

that would make the game amazing

the 2 spider man game was cool. like how you could fall and dive in to the ground. it got boring after awhile saving the same freaking people. i hope the make it the same with the freadom but add more things to do and stuff. in the game they should make it soo you can track down a boss and get a certin amount of points.

i wonder if there gonna have the symbiote suit take over peter in the 3rd spider man movie. i heard that the villian is venom

» Black Spiderman

Black spiderman is definetly in the film. Spiderman will get taken over by the venom symbiote at one stage. In a church he will loose the suit and it will merge with another to form Venom. This will likely involve the ringing of church bells to strip him of the suit since it is weakened by supersonic waves. Venom is one villain, sandman the other, and possibly the appearance of Green Goblin II
