Those of you who've already been gaming since the 80s may remember Spelunker on the Atari 8-bit systems. If not, then maybe you came across its ports on the arcades, Commodore 64, or the NES? Good news. The brilliant cave-crawler will soon be reborn into the 7th gen as Spelunker HD.
Spelunker HD will remain faithful to Timothy Martin's 1983 classic - old enemies and obstacles will return, but you might not even recognize them at once given the huge jump in graphics. This one boasts 100 all new levels spread across 10 different worlds.
It's due out November 23rd for US$ 9.99.

available in Japan for well over 2 years or so now. As you can see the dev/pub are TOZAI. Its a shame that this took so long to be localized! The original was released
by Broderbund,reme mber them? I beleive there was an arcade too. Anyway - Food for thought!
