rfomSony's PS3 first party releases will be retailed at $59.99. However, in Japan, titles such as Genji: Days of the Blade and Resistance: Fall of Man will cost $49.99. This is according to 1Up's latest report on Sony's Gamer's Day taking place in San Francisco.

Sony dropped the prices for their Memory Card Adapter which is now $14.99, the SIXAXIS controller now priced at $49.99, and the Blu-Ray disc player remote controller costing $24.90.

Unfortunately, the PS3 unit won't come with component cables and you're bound to buy them separately. The system will come bundled with Talladega Nights in Blu-ray format.

The event began with a video of Ridge Racer 7 from YouTube. Then, Sony ran demos of Fl0w, Blast Factor, Got Sudoku, Grip Shift DLX and the Jet Moto 2 (a PSOne title that will work on the PS3's backwards compatibility). They also threw in some Criminal Crackdown stuff. If you snagged a seat at Sony's Gamers Day event, you're one of the lucky ones who have experienced Sony's PS3 marketing strategy first-hand... and apparently earlier than anyone else.

Sony also showed the MotorStorm demo at the event but the actual content will only be available on November 17. Sony plans to unveil more news on the availability of PS3 content as the days come so keep on browsing.
