Sony's April 27 announcement confirms Uncharted 2 multiplayer, public beta in June |

As formally revealed on the PlayStation Blog, complete with a trailer too, Sony's announcing that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will get online co-op and competitive multiplayer. Good job, Naughty Dog!
As hinted by the Best Buy preo-order box over the weekend, getting into the beta requires you to buy inFamous, which gets released on May 26 (again, to clarify, Uncharted 2 beta starts a week later though, on June 3).
Here's the trailer. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but... did I just see twin Nathan Drakes over there? Ah well, guess that works too... It looks like we also have some sort of Capture the Flag gametype where opposing teams have to protect/steal an artifact from the opposing faction.

I haven't been on my PS3 in a week or two due to upgrading my graphics card to one with a DVI instead of VGA and now my DVI slot in my monitor is taken up with PC and PS3 cannot be used. Looking forward to Uncharted 2, I LOVED the first one, hopefully see you guys on the beta.
I loved the first Uncharted, And this one looks sick. I just per-ordered InFamous over the weekend and i'm looking forward to the beta and the demo for InFamous! good announcement.
I LOVED the first one, a true masterpiece, and I cannot wait for Un 2. Hope to see you guys in the beta, hopefully I'll be getting my DVI splitter soon and I'll be able to play my PS3 more as I won't have to share it with my PC which stops me playing with it a lot. Anyway yeah, well done Sony and Naughty Dog!!!

The multiplayer trailer looks pretty badass. I'll probably try it but I'll concentrate more on the story mode.
I hope that the multiplayer doesn't take anything from the story mode.

Looks great....I hardly indulge in single-player games if there isn't any co-op so this is going to fit perfectly for me.
I'm really tired of the zoom in and shoot thing plaguing games nowadays but hopefully the gameplay will be great.
if your best buy is like mines the pre order box is out in the open so just open the box and the demo codes are inside a piece of paper.
Looks great. Uncharted with multiplayer modes is pretty much just what I've wanted for the last year or so. I love Naughty Dog. I do.
