"Reeves stated that the milestone was achieved nine and a half weeks faster than its predecessors."

It's good news, yes, but it assumes the two are equally comparible. The 360 was seriously hampered by shortages for many months after launch, something which was never an issue in PAL territories (you could ALWAYS find a PS3 on the high street since launch).

What really matters is how the sales are NOW, and from what I'm seeing, the PS3 is still being outsold by the 360, and both are being outsold by the Wii.

this picture shows incredibly poor taste and cannot even be justified with parody (it's just not funny and no worthwhile point is being made). If you want to hint to the world domination issue put up a pictue of Charly Chaplin as the Great Dictator, funnier and classier.

And if you really need it spelled out: some of your readers have lost family 60 years ago, and I for my part do not want to be reminded of that when reading a Ps3 blog for the sake of a bad joke!

Actually apart from the UK, in Europe the PS3 is selling more in other countriesthen its competitors, considering all this bulls*** about the price and no gamesout for it. You didnt say were you were from. I am from Ireland and I know four people with a PS3, one with a 360 and none with a Wii. As i said before the PS3 has really no games yet and it is still selling at equal to the 360 sometimes more in European countries apart from the UK. Anybody who is waiting to buy a PS3 for the last 2 years isn't going to buy a 360 now and yes are you aware that the 360 has been out for a year and a half now?

I don't get it. I was really looking into getting a 360 (besides my PS3), but I don't know. $399. But then, I might want to use Live (isn't that the system seller), so, either I get a cable to my rack or I'll buy a wireless adapter for additional $99. Don't need the HD DVD, because I can what Blu-Ray with the PS3, so, that saves me at lease $199, but still, then I have a box, a power brick and a USB wireless adapter hanging around. I don't know. Still too much money for me just to play Gears of War and Lost Planet...

Well being as I am an Anglo Saxon English man and lost a lot of my family in the war I dont see why it is offensive.

It's competitors??? You do know that includes the Wii don't you? Both consoles are currently being outsold by the Wii, so I don't know where you got that idea from. And which other countries besides Germany?

The PS3 only launched in March this year in Europe, so of course that gives the PS3 an initial boost in terms of sales, hence the report that the PS3 outsold the 360 in Germany in the month of April (a month after launch).

But where are the other reports of the same being true in France, Spain, Italy etc? In fact, where are the reports of the PS3 outselling the 360 in ANY Europeon countries in May? If this had happened, it would have made news SOMEWHERE don't you think?

So no, you're the one who's wrong.
