Sony: We're aware of Team ICO Collection demand

No doubt about it, Team ICO has a lot of fans out there rubbing their hands in anticipation of their new project. Sony themselves, actually, are all too aware of the demand for a collection to be released on the PS3. Does this acknowledgement therefore mean that they'll be delivering on that demand?

You'd be happy to know, through SCE Worldwide studio boss Shuhei Yoshida, that they are looking into it. "[And] ICO and Shadow of the Colossus is on the top of the list. And we are very aware and we want to see and play it in HD with a better framerate as well, so that's something we are very, very aware of."

At least that's something positive, right? Maybe we'll be seeing a Team ICO Collection of the PS3 sometime soon.

Yes. I have my Shadow of the Colossus and Ico on PS2. I just recently finished my 2nd playthrough on hard difficulty.
It's incredibly fun and epic to take down the colossi. Then I played a little on PCSX2 at 1920x1200. Dang...... it's beautiful, even with it's age and visual artifacts from the emulator.

Fuuuuck, I hate these games, and I hate the constant nagging about them. This will only make that worse. Realize that these games are shit, morons! Shit!!

He's right, taking it to an extreme, but still right. These games are as highly over-rated as everything that has ever been touched by valve. Whats worse is this annoying, droning group of gamers who act like these games are gods own creation, when to many of us, they are forgetable.

considering how many games that are forgetable for just about everybody both ICO and SotC are definitely more attractive as HD versions than a lot of oter games. So... I don't really see why you're even trying to make it sound like an HD release of these games would be a bad thing. :-/

Great..It would be a waste not to continue something so epic onto the PS3.

Make it in 3D, add online Multiplayer quests and please don't rush it. Its would definitely be epic than Monster Hunter if they hadn't made it for the Wii. Shadow of Colossus FTW.

After watching the trailer, I'm quite impressed. Although theres no multiplayer or anything like that, I'm really impressed by the detail of of the graphics and gameplay. The only non realistic looking thing in the game is the main character.
