Wow. How original. Ive been level creating in game and shared with my friends on Garry's Mod, and have been since it came out.

The only "exclusive" i find interesting is MGS4. And one game is not enough to make me want to fork out £400 for this hi-def George Foreman grill. Especially seeing as to partially quote the Dark Knight it no longer "comes in black". The silver...thing at the front really makes me feel ill.



Every day i hear the words "sony has great software", but i have yet to see any proof in this.

for all those games that were showed during e3, ps3 there was no real definite date and alot of the MS games showed most of them coming out this year..

and killzone was a disappointment, so not looking forward for another one, the only game to me that im looking forward to on the ps3 is ffxiii vers

What DID you do to your PS2? My PS2 lasted for YEARS. My PSP? YEARS. My PS3? Died once with GTA4 which was famous for killing lots of systems. Sony fixed it for free.



Well, have fun with playing tons of games that are nowhere close to being original, and sequels that have the same exact graphics, physics and everything else as it's predecessor, yet still requires twice the original requirements.



Have fun paying for a new graphics card every 2 weeks just to stay current and be able to play the next best FPS or RPG. Have fun knowing that the market is dying thanks to lowlife piraters.



You don't risk anything by "putting in a bluray disc" or anything. You'd be more likely for the thing to stop working if you went outside and started planting flowers while singing Sesame Street songs.

since the time sony phased them out. from what ive heard, sony extended the warranty on some 60s if bought before or after a certain date. usually it works fine one day and stops the next. its always a problem with the laser though. still the low failure rate but it does happen. i believe it has something to do with the excess heat the ps2 hardware creates.

@ kjahr: Warhawk is a diferent thing, the game takes advantage of the PS3's sixaxis controller and its rare that they would port it because then the 360 version would look and be inferior whie LittleBigPlanet could take advantage of lives interface for its level sharing and playing with friends.

yeah but your opinion is only good to you. If you enjoy any system you buy then thats all that matters, if not you sell it. I have to disagree with the exclusive line up being weak, as I admit to the better games coming out later, they ARE still coming out either way. God of War, M.A.G, Dead Space, and inFamous...did you watch the E3 Conference? You say Resistance 2 will fall short of the first, but since when have you played an "Insomniac" game that was a disappointment? and same for Naughty Dog. and LittleBigPlanet ? thats like saying home is gonna come to 360 to. The reason I say that is because Home is like LBP and will become VERYYY popular, but it's not going to 360! plus..come on when has anything gone from ps3 to 360 first? not to mention its only available via the PSN network, the 360 only has a live arcade....you might wanna take that back haha. (plus watch them throw something "sixaxis-ish" in there) i rest my case.

You could always try the demo to get a better idea, that is if there is going to be a demo.

One game can be worth the price of a PS3, GT was more than enough to convince me to buy a PS3.

Perfect Dark and Halo are really the only FPS games that I can think of as exclusives for the 360. Yes, Bioshock WAS an eclusive, but you can hardly claim that it was a generic FPS.

Having all the latest consoles myself the only console with the best games has to be the PS3 i have played the Wii and Xbox 360 and have all the games and even beta of upcoming games and i have to say that the future for the Xbox 360 is bleak and very dull! Having to follow behind the TWO top running consoles Wii and PS3! Even if the PS3 has few exclusives it wont last long and even the Multi-platform games are still better on the Wii and PS3. Ok so Xbox has Halo and Crackdown but i have to say games like Siren BloodCurse Blow them out of the water and after playing Mirrors Edge i got to feel sorry for Xbox 360! My final messege is its not Quantity its Quality and you have to agreed PS3 and Wii win no denying it, but don't go flaring up and getting all pi$$y its just what i have to say!

The PS3 does, presently, have the best line-up of all three consoles.



Most of the 9/10 and 10/10 games are shared onto the 360, but not all (see: MGS4, Warhawk, etc.). On the flipside, the 360 has no exclusives worth owning. End of story.



Wii has a decent line-up, and it's definitely worth owning just for Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Mario Kart Wii, Super Paper Mario, SSB: Brawl, Wii Sports, and maybe a few others, but it doesn't yet have quite the library the PS3 has.

@ checkmate: First of all, Mag is a game that for me has very low expectations of being good, promising an online multiplayer that supports up to 256 players in a huge interactive map means huge lag becuz obviously the RAM of any console on the market can't withstand that (not even if the PS3 had 1gb ram) or the graphis are gonna be very compressed and looking outdated. Infamous does looks promising but we gotta wait for it to see (Haze looked pretty promising, until I dowloaded the demo off PSN). Also, its true that Insomaniac has never made any dissappointing game, but overall their games haven't attracted me much (except the first Ratchet and Clank, that was pretty good) and to Resistance I'd probably give an 8/10. Naughty Games neve disapponting? What about Crash Bash for the PS1? or Crash Bandicoot: Ttans or something for the pc and xbox? and Naughty Dog has gone downhill after Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped. Also, obviously Home isn't coming to the 360, it's a licensed project by Sony. Still this Home looks like a gimmick, I mean it's sort off a Second Life ripoff with updated graphics... and I never liked Second Life, because I would rather go to the movies or play pool with my real friends rather than in a virtual world.



@ K3b4b5t4r: You call Crackdown a good 360 game? You clearly have't played 360 much cuz that game sucks. And just in case the top runnig xclusive 360 games are Gears of War, Halo 3, Perfect Dark Zero, Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata and games like Fable 2, Gears of Wars 2, and Halo Wars coming. The PS3 top running exclusives are just MGS 4 and Resistance and upcoming titles are Kilzone 2, Resistance 2, LBP, and thats it... You may say Quality over quantity but most of exclusives on the 360 look and are better than those on PS3 (except for obviously MGS4, which is very addicting and I'm already playng my 4th playthrough and wanna get the Big Boss Enblem :S).



PS3 is better than 360 and Wii in some things, but beleive me that software line-up is not one of them.

@ mr.x256: yeah I totally forgot Gran Turismo. I'm not an avid fan or Gran Turismo (I prefer Burnout, more fun) but I know that it's a good game and many like it.



@ K3b4b5t4r: 360 has outdated graphics and it's like a blurred wii? In what game? Every third party game I've played looks the same on both consoles (hd resolution does not make a notable difference on games due to the fact that it's just expanding the pixel outake with same original game's graphics), ohh and ti'll like late 2007 even third party games looked a bit better (yet not to noticeable) on 360 (Oblivion, Assasin's Creed, COD4) due to the inexpertise of the developers to manage their games on 2 256mb RAM chips. Ohh and about first party games, compare Resistance to Gears Of Wars and you'll see that Gears graphics are significantly better. Still in general the graphics of both system are on par, because the total RAM of both systems is the same (which amazes me that they couldn't at least put 1gb RAM on both consoles instead of 518mb RAM, I mean even cheap computers nowadays come with 1-2gb RAM). Processor-wise, like it or not (which diehard fanboys are not gonna admit) both systems are on par when using them ON GAME, because evn though the Cell has 7 cores (360 has 3) they're SPEs and not what I would cal REAL CPU cores because SPEs are slower. When using them for GAMES they're in fact on par, although one could say the Cell Processor is a bit better becuase of less probability of overheating and causing the system to break (which is the 360 problem which Microsoft says they supposedly don't know (and they know, but they know its unfixable cuz they can't just use different processors when games have ben programmed to run on those processors) whats causing RROD and why you shouldn't be playing the 360 like over 3 hours everyday, and you really shouldn't with any other console either because it clearly says you have no life...).

Now about those games:

Mirrors Edge: Also on 360, and the fact that it's like a freerunning game disinterests me

Angel Rings: Not much information about it...

Coded Arms Assault: I have one of the PSP versions, and it sucked.

DC Universe: Looks crappy, also on both consoles

Driver 5: Driv3r and Driver 4 were disappointing, also on both consoles

Eight Days: Haven't heard of it.

Eyedentify: Haven't heard of it.

Fifth Phantom Saga: Looks mediocre, and the fact that Sega is doing that game terrifies me

Final Fantasy XIII: Both consoles, will be an ok game but not that good since FF series went downhill after FFIX

Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Looks awesome, and the fact that the creators of Kingdom Hearts are working on it says it's gonna be great

God of War III: Also gonna be a good game

Gradius 6: Gradius 5 was ok, lets see.

Gran Turismo 5: Good game although I didn't like the series much, prefer Burnout.

Killzone 2: Looks really good and I'm gonna definately buy it.

L.A. Noire: I played an LA game on the PS2 like a few years ago, it sucked badly and was definately not GTA...

LittleBigPlanet : Looks good yet weird, can't seem to know much about this game no matter how many trailers I see.

Monster Kingdom: Played Monster Kingdom on psp, it sucked.
