Sony switcheroos: Warhawk to be download-only again |

From semi-official Sony blog Three Speech comes this news that Sony "advised" them that their dogfighting title Warhawk will be available as a download-only game only... again. Yes, it's another game of news Foosball for the highly-awaited title and, if they're gonna keep this up, someone's going to have to keep score.
After the first announcement that Warhawk would be hiking up the multiplayer trail, Sony's marketing officials also added that the title will be available as a Blu-Ray-based product. Over at the 2007 Game Developers Conference, Incognito Entertainment, folks engineering the game, had a case of the fits about the constant change of events. That's not to say they aren't still working on the title; it's just no one's happy to be Sony's volleyball.
That aside, it's unclear now whether Warhawk would be shoving itself into a 25 GB polycarbonate plastic platter and as datagrams or as datagrams only. You'd notice that the game's history is chock full of poor hype goodies. Either that, or it's a predetermined long-term publicity stunt executed in questionable taste.
Still, there are PlayStation 3 fans looking up to this game, and as soon as Incognito drops a demo onto our laps, we'll be back to our cheery selves again. You hear that Sony? It's "go" time for that beta test!

just make up their minds. The game seems good anyway.
LOL. I bet it's big and they can't decide whether it's size is going to be a distribution problem.
wonder how big its gonna b. will it b 25gig+ (enough to justify bluray disk) or will it b under 9gig (showing that dvd9 is fine for games) ?
anything over 15gig will be shooting them selves in the foot.
it a multiplayer game with no mission and no story. No story+ no videos. It can be even on DVD4.7
For other big game it necessary a BD.
does any 1 know how long gameplay is on Resistance?
The ps3 downloads so slowly this will probebly take
3 or 4 days to download. I hope sony keeps working
their marketing magic on this nightmare
