Wishing for that LittleBigPlanet demo Sony promised to give away this fall 2007? Don't count on it, says Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) PR senior manager Ron Eagle. Developer Media Molecule's adorable side-scroller for the Sony PlayStation 3 is still scheduled for release this 2008, but the demo is nowhere in sight.

"I can officially confirm that there won't be a demo this year," Eagle told MTV Multiplayer. Sony's man said he was able to get his hands on 30 of 50 levels made by developers and had fun, but the demo won't be ready until next month at least.

When analysts start calling a game a "console mover," it's not difficult to imagine how much effort devs are putting into LittleBigPlanet. Our eyes are peeled for any announcements of the demo, so watch this space for updates!

He says that the demo could be out next month? Isn't this game tightly tied into "home"? I guess this will add to the rumor mill at the playstation forums.

WE ARE TIRED OF WAITING.....

There goes Sony again not wanting to kick out the Server bucks. I wonder what level of reach within the market will the game LBP and service Home have.

if the game will be released next year... theres no reason to rush it because theres so many good games next year that the 08 will be the year of PS3... without a doubt... unless the 360 had something under their sleeves
