Sony: MotorStorm "Fight your way to the Finish Contest" announced

We've got another mud-splattering race coming up for MotorStorm, courtesy of Sony. The company has just announced that it will be holding a series of racing competitions, dubbed the Fight Your Way to the Finish Contest, for the next couple of weeks. For every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday that the contest takes place, 16 contestants stand to win a free copy of Evolution Studios' MotorStorm game for the PlayStation 3, and a PlayStation T-shirt.

The Fight Your Way to the Finish Contest began this May 4, and is expected to run through August 5; The contest begins every Friday at 4 p.m., with the Saturday and Sunday bouts beginning at 12 p.m.

Interested competitors are advised to look out for PlayStation Experience, PlayStation Patrol or PlayStation Locker Room Challenge Tour trucks passing through their locale - that's the venue. Keep posted in case we pick up news on the contest winners, and make sure to check out Sony's PS3 (US) site for tournament rules.

Yeah, I don't understand the part about the guy winning the game either. I guess because you're not playing from homes merits them giving you the game. If you already have it, sell it. If you don't, buy a PS3! It's a good game though. It's only fault is no offline multiplayer.
