Following the November NPD Group results, Sony has released their own set of statistics for the PlayStation Network while Microsoft also gave additional info and comments for the November numbers.
According to Sony, 3 million have registered on the PlayStation Network ever since it launched - 1.8 million of them from the US alone. In addition, over 60 million pieces of content have been downloaded from the network.
Sony also comments on the recent PSN price promotion for their games Calling all Cars, Everyday Shooter, flOw, and Pixel Junk Racers, saying that it resulted in a 920% increase in total downloads.
Microsoft, on the other hand, pointed out that the Xbox 360 generated more third-party US revenue for November than the PlayStation 3 and and the Wii combined. The Xbox 360 raked in US$ 367 million, the PS3 took in US$ 129 million and the Wii got US$ 203 million.
Microsoft also added that they have an attach rate of 6.9 games sold per console for the Xbox 360, breaking the games attach record. Also, they mentioned that they have 84 titles with a Metacritic review score of 80 or higher, while the PS3 only got 39 games, and the Wii got 12 titles.

Seems like you can be in two spots at the same time, or are the games not interesting enough to hold you attention that you have to come on the Net to post your opinions? I guess you'll come up with a stupid reply saying that nobody can play games all the time, but then the same goes for PS3 fans as well, who are probably taking a break from games to post on these forums. Is that why I have unreal and you dont? LoL top rated games, Bioshock isnt that great.., Goes back to speed power-ups, can pick stuff up with your mind, hit people with rench's and teddy bears, and shock people... Wow that sounds good?
Halo and mass are pretty good, but you act like the PS3 has no games on it when your just blinded by your fanboy side. Dont talk if you dont even know, cause I bet you dont have a PS3.

Well then I guess I can comment since I have all 3 and an HDDVD then. My personal opinion is HDDVD is better is better than Blu-Ray, Xbox360 is better than PS3 and Wii, and Live is waaaay better than PSN. The only game I have for my PS3 is Resistance (GREAT game)Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Oh yea and BioShock is a fantastic and was rated game of the year for a reason.

While I'm not saying that 360 games are bad (how can I? I have a 360 and have some of the most popular games on the 360, including Oblivion Collector's Ed, GRAW, Halo3 Ltd Ed, BioShock), I also have a PS3 and have had hundreds of enjoyable hours on the PS3 (I have RFOM, NGS, Warhawk, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, The Darkness, Uncharted) and can tell you that the 360 does not have all the best games.
Also, you have avoided what I posted, mainly that the 360 also has had its share of stinkers in order to reach its list of good games. The PS3 is not the only console that has had poor games in its stable. That is a reality of games development. Don't delude yourself that the 360 has some divine blessing of getting only good games.
If you are convinced that the 360 has good games ONLY , I can supply you with a list of some of the 360's stinkers posing as games.

While I don't usually agree with nllx's fanboy-oriented rants, I have to agree with his post regarding BioShock. In addition to the PS3, I do have a 360 and I have BioShock, and let me tell you, BioShock is MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE and inventive than Halo 3. I do wish you would have tried out BioShock before criticizing it, as it just shows you in a poor light.
Sorry for criticizing you, but you were wrong and I had to speak out. If you were offended, I apologize.

But seriously, tho, this has to be the greatest line up of games in gaming history (for ALL platforms involved).

So I've tried it out more or less with my eyes. Im more into a kind of game like Metal gear, one with a great storyline that has crazy twists and stuff.

My opinion is that i lvoe the 360 and ps3 but i think its going to be extremely hard for the 360 to beat sony without the Japaneses market.

Both formats are pretty much the same, but Blu-ray has almost double the size on each of its layers compared to HDDVD.
Why back HDDVD ? It's hardly a step forward.
It's like Backing 900MB CD's instead of DVD's.
Atleast that is my opinion.

I'm sorry for stirring this much ***** up here. I didn't mean to dis your respective consoles. All three consoles seem to have great games at this point. Stop trying to push one console over another because you personally believe your games are better. I hope Sony will emerge victor because I have always been a Sony gamer since the original PlayStation. This doesn't mean that there aren't good exclusive games on other consoles. But it's always seemed to me as if Microsoft is trying to eliminate the console gaming market with the box. Case in point:
360 fan boys have got to stop talking about Bioshock and Gears of War as if I am not playing them with better graphics on PC. We're getting Halo 3 on PC soon enough (weather you can bring yourself to that sad realization). If you want to call them exclusives go ahead. All I'm saying is that the PC version is a million times better cause I don't need to try and shoot with a damn analog.
The same goes for UT3 on PS3 so people stop bragging as if you've got the *****. It's ALL personal preference.
