Sony: how to apply for the PlayStation Home Beta test community |

Want to save yourself a spot in the public testing of the PlayStation Home Beta? Nothing easier. Just grab yourself the new PlayStation Home theme for your PlayStation Store. This automatically counts as your application to join the Beta test community.
Eligibility though, is another matter. A variety of criteria will be used for the invites, including activity on the PlayStation Network. Even if you don't get picked for the Beta, the design for the Home theme for the PS Store still looks worth updating for. If you're part of the existing community of the closed Beta though, you're automatically in, so no worries for you.
Sony Europe will also be beginning their expanded closed beta, and will also be targeting consumers who have been most active on the PlayStation Network and PlayStation Store. SCEE will soon be contacting their own PSN audience, if they haven't done so yet.

But i noticed it this morning when i read the description.
How come i go onto PsStore and i can't find this theme anywhere, im in europe but have a yank account too

... only America and Japan (maybe some other places) have it, but in Europe, SCEE is going to hand-pick the winners without anything. So you're probably entered. This is what I heard, anyways.
im confused is the public beta not PUBLIC as in anyone can join and it is unlimited entrants
This isn't the public beta.
Any idea on how long it'll take to get a response to know whether or not you've been invited to the beta? Or how the invite even works, you'll have to forgive me if I sound stupid by asking this just wasn't clear on how that part of the matter works.
