Actually from what I remember online

Sony said that if Microsoft dropped price on Xbox 360 at E3 this year, Sony would follow them 2 MONTHS AFTERWARDS WITH THERE OWN PRICE CUT! AKA that will be autumn. No they won't be price dropping when Microsoft price drops theres but they will, when the new 65NM RSX chip is inside the new PS3's, which will be in Fall. Yes Analysts have said repeatedly that PS3 would do a Price drop in fall and not right after Microsofts announcement of 360 price drop.

Just after reading the heading, my first thought was that they are probably lying so that sales wont drop. Because if people think that a price drop will happen they will not want to buy one until the price drop acctually happens so to save money. Best off waiting until E3.
