Sony and Best Buy team up for holiday PS3 bundles

If you were saving up for a big splurge, this might be what you've been waiting for. Want to get started on that HD entertainment rig? Then you should definitely have a look at what Sony and Best Buy are cooking up.

The vid pretty much sums it up - PS3, a game, a Blu-ray movie, and a Bravia HD TV. There's a whole lot of limits and regulations about those, but you can end up saving US$ 1,100 on starting a new rig.

I mean, think about it. Batman: Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 1+2, Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed II and Fallout 3 are quite frankly, terrible. Plus, I mean, come on...what PS3 exclusives do we have to look forward to over the next few months? MAG? ModNation Racers? GRAN TURISMO 5?? Puh-lease. You would've thought that a free online gaming subscription and built-in wi-fi would've been enough to turn people away from the PS3, but nOOooooo. I mean, come on, it's not like the controllers are rechargeable without having to buy a plug and play or go thorugh a ton of batteries or anything...

It's $789 - $1100. If you buy a $1500 hdtv they take off about $600. That's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Demon's Souls, Siren: Blood Curse, Gundam Senki, and Valkyria Chronicles are the best exclusives on the system.

There are other good exclusives that are always thrown around, examples like Uncharted, Killzone 2, or Ratchet and Clank. I don't think are the best, nor do I think people should keep throwing the same games out there when there are other games that are also good for the system.

Fallout isn't too bad, Batman was great, Uncharted is good, not my style but good, MGS4 I personally really enjoyed.

The "PS3 has no games" thing was valid 2 years ago buddy, stop beating that dead horse. it now has a long list of great exclusive titles and lots more coming out. Demons' Souls is one of the best games I've ever played
