SOCOM: Confrontation - Image 1

Just as promised, the new SOCOM: Confrontation v1.20 patch is finally available for download. Those who were able to get the v1.10 patch could expect a 50MB update. If you don't have v1.10 yet, you'll have to download that (which was around 550MB) plus this new v1.20 patch.

With that said, here are the changes made in SOCOM: Confrontation v1.20:
  • Fixed many issues which would cause the game to crash, hang, disconnect and exit to the PS3 XMB.
  • Fixed an issue which would cause large numbers of players in a high player count game to be simultaneously disconnected.
  • Fixed an issue which would cause players to be invincible.
  • Fixed a physics issue which would cause players to occasionally "warp" around on the map.
  • Fixed an issue where a "corrupt save data" message would be incorrectly displayed after updating the game.
  • Fixed some player model issues related to team swapping.
  • Client/server optimization.
  • Fixed an issue where the scope camera had an incorrect offset from the barrel of the gun while prone or leaning/peeking.
As you can see, for a 50MB patch, SCEA's been able to make quite a lot of headway in terms of stability. They do note, however, that they're currently looking into some other minor issues left unsolved with v1.20 - they plan to fix those in another patch.

lol sounds pretty terrible with some of those bugs that needed fixing, Invulnerability , warping around maps, offset sight when aiming prone/leaning.... and still more issues to be fixed, also wtf with the 550mb v1.10 patch? what did they leave out half the game or something?
