SOCOM: Confrontation pushed back to October |
Ó
PS3 owners will have to wait just a while longer before they get to blow people away in Slant Six's SOCOM: U.S. Nave SEALs Confrontation. An update on the game's official site has announced that it will not be meeting its September 16 release date.Instead, SOCOM: Confrontation will be launching on October 14 to make time for more tweaks to the game's online experience. "Rather than sacrifice features, quality and stability, we had to do the right thing and re-adjust our schedule," said SCEA Director of Development Seth Luisi.
Apart from focusing on further game tweaks, the SOCOM: Confrontation team is also preparing for this year's E3. It also looks like the game will be entering its Beta phase pretty soon. Keep checking back here for more updates.

I am disappointed that I will have to wait another month to get my hands on this great title, but it is good that they wont be releasing a buggy game and then poorly patching it like many of the other games that have been coming out lately. The beta will at least hold me over though.
