Over on the official SOCOM website, Seth Luisi has revealed information
regarding the public beta for SOCOM: Confrontation. According to Luisi, the Confrontation beta will run from September 1 to September 30.Two ways have been announced to get into the SOCOM: Confrontation Public Beta. First, if you preorder SOCOM: Confrontation at GameStop, you'll be be able to get into the beta and even invite two friends to join in on the fun. The second way to get into the beta is to download the June Issue of QORE, though this only allows you to download and play the beta from September 8 to September 30.
As for restrictions, please remember that all this info only applies for North America. Also, you'll need a PSN account, but we doubt we need to tell you that. In any event, you may want to grab a preorder of the game while you can, if you want to get in on the beta, that is.

Yes, I know that anyone can pay for and download QORE, but for anyone who has --it's already chock full of Ads (which I *ahem* PAID to download) ....and I had to PAY for it.
One would think I'd at least be priveleged enough to download the SOCOM beta on the same day as everyone else. :-(
