Social Club portal launches, race to complete GTA4 in 7 days starts now |

Rockstar has announced that the Social Club for Grand Theft Auto IV (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360) has officially launched, and with the passing of Day 1, they're tempting all GTA die-hards to accept their hardcore challenge.
Some of you are no strangers to the mechanics, we know, and if the title "Grand Theft Auto IV 100% Club Competition" wasn't obvious enough, the developers dare you to finish the game in as little as seven days.
If you haven't been concentrating on Niko Bellic's story for the rest of the day, you'd better make sure that the few hours you have left are hell bent on doing so. After all, it's not everyday you get a shiny, ultra-limited, elite "Key to the City" award handed to you in a case of plush velvet and black.
If you haven't joined the Social Club back in the days of pre-registration, at least if you do sign up now, you get full access to the Social Club features we talked about a month ago. There's a few more challenges lined up for gamers in their own style of play - no matter if it's multiplayer-centric or single player only.
Oh, and just in case you forgot the particulars of the GTA4 competition, you could spare a few minutes to look over the competition rules we've linked to at the source below. Prep yourself for the big time if you qualify. More updates as we get them.

Im a freezing Victim, i just want to play the damn game within the next 7 days!
20 & 60 gig ps3s have been reported to freeze while playing GTA4. At least on this site thats what they said. mine froze for a second once while i was driving and talking on the phone. i have an 80GB.
