SingStar slated to be out in France this July - Image 1

Finally, SingStar for the Sony PlayStation 3 has a confirmed launch date in France. It is slated to be released in that country this July 11th, so the wait will soon be over. And it's not just for France, too, as if it's going to be released in one area, you can expect a North American and Europe release to follow suit. The game will be going for € 30 (about US$ 41) while the deluxe version which comes with two microphones will sell for € 60.

For those who have the microphones of the old versions of SingStar, then you're in luck since it is fully compatible with the newer editions. Also, while the Blu-ray edition of the program is said to contain multiple titles, you can always download more from the PlayStation store if that doesn't turn out to be enough.

So, watch out, Europe and start practicing those superstar tunes and moves of yours.
