Sierra announces Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy for PS3, Xbox 360

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy has gone from bestselling book to blockbuster film, and now Sierra Entertainment is bringing it to next gen video game consoles with today's announcement of Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The game combines elements from the best-selling novel and the hit film The Bourne Identity with all-new content developed in conjunction with Ludlum Entertainment. Players will take on the role of series protagonist Jason Bourne in a third-person espionage action game that explores Bourne's true identity.

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy is being developed by High Moon Studios and will be making an appearance at this year's E3. It's currently slated for release in summer 2008.

To all the books? I cant remember where, mainly because it was a tiny news snippet in a magazine or online that i could care less about it, but it was anounced that MS bought out the rights to all, or some of the bourne books to be exclusively had on the 360. Did the deal fall through? Or is it a loophole, and this game is based off the movie?
