Shin Sangoku Musou 5 announced

Great news for Dynasty Warriors fans! Koei has announced the development of Shin Sangoku Musou 5 (or Dynasty Warriors 6), the newest iteration of the game franchise, during the PlayStation Premiere in Tokyo, and it'll be headed for the PS3.

Famitsu reports that the game's motto is, "Extreme Action, Extreme Battlefield," so you can probably expect some high-powered weapon-battling action as you face a veritable multitude of enemies. Not much is known about the game as of yet, but Koei has mentioned that players will have the ability to make nearly unlimited combos if they so choose.

As for a release date, get ready for a surprise. Koei also mentioned that the game would be coming out this fall, so importers will definitely be watching out for this video game. In the meantime, you can take a look at the scan of Famitsu above and tell us what you think: Doesn't Lu Bu look like a badass? We certainly think so.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam is good. But it's this main franchise that I'm really looking forward to.

My favorite was dynasty warriors, then samurai warriors 2 surpassed it. Now I'll be waiting for a traduction of dynasty 6, I'll rock, that's for sure. I mean, omega said that we'll see 60 000 units at once in bladestorm. But it's a kind of strat. game. In dynasty 6, we'll be ONE badass that'll battle against A LOT of ennemies. I suppose the screen will be filled with ennemies, lol. I can't wait for this game (maybe I'll import for once, it's not like it's hard to understand what we have to do, and there is always a jap guide in english for importers).

Love these games. Can't wait for this one! Two things caught my eye from that pic. Firstly, is Zhou Yun running on water in the bottom left pic? and what's happened to Lu Bu's weapon? It looks like a big shuriken or something.
