Sega Rally Revolution - 31 speeding screens |
Ó
Racing fans have been abuzz regarding Sega Rally Revolution (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PC). And why not, considering the game promises to deliver great racing fun for both hardcore and casual gamers.
The game will be offering fully deformable environments as well as a variety of surface types to race on. In addition to this, various vehicles will be playable including two-wheel, four-wheel drive, and classic vehicles. The game is said to offer arcade accessibility with the depth of a simulation.
If Sega delivers on their promise, then this will be one hell of a game. While we won't be able to say anything for sure until this game rolls out, the graphics are looking really good, judging from the screenshots of the game. Why don't you check them out and see for yourself?

When I saw the first screens I noticed... that it looked like hell for a PS3/360 game... then read that it was coming for the PSP also... but even looking at the proper 360/PS3 screens... it doesn't look all that hawt.
The cars look good... but the environments are ugly. Colin McRae DiRT looks much better and it's been out for a while already.
Cars and tracks look better but physics is sort of the main fun factor pretaining to a rally game. So we'll have to see which game has pulled it off better. I like the fact sega rally has multiplayer in the form of multiple cars on track at the same time.
