Sega: No plans to bring Yakuza 3 to the West |

Apparently, Sega was asked if it was on its way to the West, and the rep said, "Not that I know of." How can you not know??!? Seriously, I don't get how they can doubt the number of units they're gonna sell here.
You can, however, get it in Japan on February 26. So if you've got money for plane tickets, and desperate enough, you can always fly there, get a Wagyu beef along the way. Or you can just import.

I'm sure it will eventually, but c'mon SEGA.... wasn't that "one of" the reasons why the DC died.... stupid decisions like that.

They better bring this to the US. I don't care if it's just subbed like Yakuza 2(I liked it better subbed than dubbed). They could at least sub the game so that people who can't read Japanese can actually import the game.
It makes me wanna learn Japanese. Not only for this, but for many other games past and future releases. Japanese companies create this products. Then they decide to market them here in the U.S., but they end up keeping all the goodies for themselves. It's a good thing that PS3 games are region free, however you have to know the language of the region it's from to play it.
Is this only coming to PS3? If its coming to 360 or PS2 then this is the one reason to get a pirated copy. WHy should I pay for a game thats not ever coming to my country, in the language I know. If they refuse to release it here then I refuse to buy it. I will get a pirated copy and have fun with my free game at thier stupid expense. If they released it here then I would buy it. Thier loss.
No wonder that SEGA is only a developer instead of console producer right now
don't lie... even if it came out here in US, you would've still chose the pirated copy since you are already capable of it... I would also lol.... no offense..
i guess sega is waiting for sony or m$ to offer them some money to bring it to the us because everyone knows that theres an exclusive war going on and the deepest pockets always gets the games first!!!!!!..outrun?????
It's not coming out for the 360 or PS2 so he can't get a pirated copy. PS3 can't play backup as far as I know. If I could I probably wouldn't, I like this game too much.
@ papjag... it is coming out for both 360 and ps3... just not here in US or UK... only japan.. if it comes out for 360 then no matter what, you can always get a pirated copy... sum1 in japan just has to back it up which will happen most likely... and if this game gets a lot of hype, then sum1 will just sub it i english as it is not that hard to do that for 360..
Maybe if they didn't waste so much time dubbing into English it would be released sooner and therefore account for wasting sales. They should just simply translate the text into english and be done with it.
