Screenshots from FFXIII Fabula Nova Crystallis series |
Ó
You really have to hand it to Square Enix when it comes to pushing any console to its absolute limit. Taking a look at some of the new screenshots from two of the games in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series, there's no doubt that we have another masterpiece installment in the long running Final Fantasy franchise.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) and Final Fantasy Agito XIII (Mobile) are two games which coincide with the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII video game on the PS3. Both games will feature new content for the series, but will still be related to one another.
Gameplay-wise, they will most likely be different, with FFvXIII following the Kingdom Hearts style of gameplay. There has been little word about how FFAXIII will run, asides from the fact that it will feature an ad hoc mode where players can connect using the mobile phone network and select different party members in the game.
In any case, go ahead and take a gander at some of the great visuals from the newest Final Fantasy installment.

I'm not really sure if the above examples "push the console to its limits", given the fact that most of the shots are not only old, but were from pre-rendered movies displaying the target as to what the game would look like.
First screenshots I've seen for Agito.. clearly pre-rendered CGI.. but not bad for a cellphone game. Of course the game will never see American shores.. so all coverage on the game might as well cease..
