I wish Sony all the best luck... But Sony, no matter how much crap you sell, it won't make it better. And on the PS3 front... where are all the "GREAT" games????? I got the PS3 but the only thing I can use it for is the BD player. And that one isn't not good enough either... I want multi region for BD/DVD. So, if they won't start showing up some good news soon, I'll throw it away.

You'll find them in shops. They are on shelves. Games have been great in yr 2007. Sorry but if u cant choose from 30 to 50 odd games (or however many) then dont buy consoles and dont play games

You must live in a hole somewhere because I own 16 games for my PS3. Assassins Creed, FEAR, Full Auto 2, GH III, Heavenly Sword, Lair, NCAA FB 08, Ninja Gaiden, Rachet and Clank FTD, Resistance, Oblivion, UT3, Untold Legends DK, Virtua Fighter 5, Warhawk, and WWE 2008. So you must not be paying attention to release dates because you can also add Turok and DMC4 to my list. You must be a 360 fanboy who owns a PS3 just so they can brag how the 360 has more games than the PS3.

WHERE ARE THE GREAT GAMES?????

Exclusive games which are GREAT: Uncharted, MGS4, UT3 (timed), Ratchet and Clank FTD, Warhawk, Resistance, and Heavenly Sword. Those are some of the games that PS3 owners will buy thar are exclusive. To say that the games are the same as the 360, well developers who work for sony or are second party developers have made games look better than any 360 game out there, one noticeably being Uncharted. There are also some third party developers who have come forward and stated that the PS3 version is better, Infintry Ward the makers of COD4, and Ubisoft the makers of Assassins Creed. QJ had posted articles about on there website, otherwise you can google it.

Twice the Price

$400 PS3 vs $350 Xbox360, wow that sure is double. I do realize that this is USD and not GBP, AUD, or Sterling. But the Europeans have been the ones on the front supporting the PS3 over the 360 and you have to accept that. You also have to be blind to see that there have been problems with the 360 which has also helped the PS3. Red Ring of Death, Disc Tray issues with ejecting and Scratching the Disc. Those issues which still are happening today.

DRE anyone?

The PS3 has just as much problems with its DRE errors. Uncharted is not the best looking game alive. Gears ME and even Bioshock hold there own against your one title. I dont believe IW and Ubisoft annouced that there games where better on the PS3 will all the bugs that still popped up after release. Unreal Tournement still doesnt count bc it will eventually come out on the 360. Anyways look at GTA4 it got pushed back from a NOVEMBER 07 release to APRIL 08 BC on the issues the PS3 gave them. This guys Logic is flawed and the numbers he stated doesnt add up to the facts there were presented not to long ago. Heavenly Sword and Lair are 2 of the worst games Ive ever played on the PS3. Lair should have given an option for analog control the SixAxis Controls where faulty as ***. Heavenly sword while appealing to the eye had controls worse than any game Ive ever played.

if u played lair u'drealise it's impossible to play with analog u fool... And Heavenly sword was great... Sure it was short... But it was a stunning game... UNCHARTED LOOKS FREAKEN AMAZING!!!! WTF ARE U TALKING ABOUT!!! It puts Gears away and is on par if not better than BS!!! But like i said before any great game on a 360 i can play on my pc... Gears/BS anyone... PS2

There has been problems with the PS2 in terms of Disc Read Error. The PS3 has been very reliable and have had a very low failure rate. Google failure rates for the PS3 if you don't believe me. First of all, LAIR had only crappy controls the rest of the game is great. I got use to the controls within the first half hour of play. I also mentioned that UT3 was timed, look above. Plus any of the high selling games will or have already come out on PC, thats where there is a good selling point for the PS3. All of its games wont go to PC, in terms of 1st and 2nd party. GTA4, Assassins Creed, Mercenaries 2, had problems with the 360 due to space on the DVD9's and that not all 360's have a HDD. With those roam anywhere type of games, it wouldn't work with more than one disc. Unless you like switch discs a lot.

Ive had my 360 since launch and nothings happened to it unlike other ppl I take care of everything I own thats expensive. My PS3 though gave me DREs and I took care of it just as well. The only game I liked on the PS3 was Resistance and thats bc the story is almost the same as GoW. The PS3 wont catch up to the 360 or Wii until MGS4 comes out. Even than it may turn out to be a another mediocre game like 2 was.

MGS2 mediocre? Maybe the xbox port of the game was *****ty, but the PS2 version was top notch. I also had a 360 since launch. I took great care of it as well, but it still got the RROD. Every system will eventually RROD, and many if not all of the remaining systems will RROD this year. It's going to happen, you can't stop it.

Using your logic, if you have a 360 you should throw that away too. You said all the games out there are the same as 360's didn't you? I own both consoles but still have to ask whats on 360 thats so much better? Nothing really. Gears is old news, Halo 3 is so so and Mass Effect sucks IMO. Both consoles have great games and if you cant see that you shouldn't own either. As far and using your ps3 as a blu ray player its the best one out there and at least you get a high def movie player with the Ps3 so don't be too greedy.

Uncharted is the best looking game on a console right now period. If you disagree then I guess you don't own both consoles and haven't seen it in action. Unreal Tournament 3 will be inferior on 360 due to lack of mods and key and mouse support and Ps3 also has Warhawk and Resistance which both have amazing multiplayer equal to if not better than any exclusive game on the 360. PSN is free too.

Lets not get tribal - the 360 has the games at the moment, anyone who believes otherwise is just kidding themselves. But the PS3 has some stunning games too - Racthet & Clank, Uncharted and Motorstorm are all superb, and when not being ported by untrained staff, the PS3 can hold its own. The system itself is also far better built and more flexible than the 360. (And yes, I own both, and a Wii too - so I can be objective). And I liked Heavenly Sword, I don't care what anyone says. It doesn't beat Gears or BS, but then those games are exceptional by any standard. If you only own one or the other, there's plenty to go at either way.

I support both consoles... thats why many people here doesn't like my comments because I say the one is good for this and bad for that... I bought first the 360 and like a year later the ps3... Now, to say that the PS3 doesn't have games or AAA games is an old school comment... an old one and stupid one really... have already many good title and with the ones to come? You can't tell that this year is the year of the ps3... with games and with firmware update, with home and not for the social that maybe I will not use it a lot... but with home will comes the archievement (the trophies things) and games in it and a lot more... we will have the shotters with killzone and resistance 2, we will have the fighting games like tekken 6, LBP, the almighty metal gear and many more... So, if you can't bash the PS3 with intelligent arguments then don't say nothing, go to the 360 where you belong... thanks

Sony has sold 3.9 million in pal territories while the 360 has sold around 5.4 which equals a 1.5 million difference(reminding you about your idiocy. 4. The ps3 in Pal territories has sold 72% of the 360's in about 33% of the time as the 360. 5. Sony's system launched in pal terriroties in March making the system around 8 months old while the 360 is 2 years old. 6. So with 16 more months in advantage the 360 has only sold 1.5 million more thats pathetic. 7. The only reason the 360 is doing so well is because of North America. 8. Your an idiot again.

Granted the PS3 is a cool piece of harware. Put it side by side on the same HDTV with the 360 and the same game and to the nacked eye you can not tell the difference in the content. Those that say they can are lieing. The 360 has something that Sony will nerver have an online network that can't be touched.

I agree. When you put the consoles side by side on HDTVs, the PS3 does have the better graphics. COD4 is a great example of how the PS3 is just so much better. Even DMC4 and Burnout Paradise look 100x better on PS3. And yes, PSN is better than XBL. Anyone who has played on both knows that PSN has no lag, no kids, and no monthly fee. About the first sentence: Yeah, the 360 has more (good) games ATM, but there so much good games to come for the PS3. And I don't see any good games coming for the 360. (well, except Fable 2 and Halo Wars). Same goes for the Wii(Only one game, Smash Bros. Brawl). All consoles have some great games, and you can't get everything, It was the same with the PS2 and the PSone...

McAwesome you didn't read my post very well. Side by side on the some display hardware you can not tell the difference no if and but about it. As far as the PSN with out a way to fund it it will never grow and there is a reason for the no lag No Users. XBL has far more users than PSN (numbers don't lie). XBL is also free its called silver. Sony is better if you like Root Kits. Sony makes cool hardware but where they fall short is trying shove their useless hardware on the public(HI8, UMD, etc). If you remeber way back bata-max had won and was out selling VHS. What happened VHS came back the same thing could very well happen with Blu-Ray and HD DVD. If HD wins guess everyone with a PS3 will stuck with a console that can not play HD moves. Just some thoughts. Doesn't matter who wins in the end the consumer always get the shaft.

but a 360 forum site had 360 fans where they admitted Uncharted is a desirable + decent title for the PS3. as 4 GTA4, it was push bk because of the Halo craze. both consoles had weaknesses to work around Geow + BS both run from Unreal engine (i dunno y i mentiond that).
