SCEE: MotorStorm 3 domain registration doesn't mean there's a new game coming |

Just because SCEE registered the motorstorm3.com domain doesn't mean that MotorStorm 3 is coming. That's what a Sony PR guy said recently regarding the filing.
“It’s not uncommon for us to secure the URLs containing the names of our successful IP, and those actions should not be interpreted as an announcement of a new title in a franchise,” a Sony rep told gaming news blog VG247.
Basically a spin on the old "Sony doesn't comment on rumors and speculation" line. Something tells me we'll see an announcement at E3 though.

It's also not uncommon for successful franchises to get sequels either. While he does have a point I very much doubt a successful exclusive racing game will not get a sequel considering it's the exclusives that make people choose a system over another
