SCEE announces SingStar ABBA |

European classic pop band ABBA is set to conquer this generation's consoles via Sony and its PS2 and PS3. SCEE announced today that they will be releasing the bands best loved trackes like "Mamma Mia", "Gimme, Gimme", "Waterloo" and "Dancing Queen" to SingStar.In full collaboration with ABBA and Universal Music Group, Sweden SingStar ABBA is largely a result of a resurgence of the band's music and its popularity, thanks to the success of the film "Mamma Mia!"
Says David Reeves, SCEE President:
We are thrilled to be collaborating with ABBA to bring their tracks to SingStar this Christmas. The popularity of this iconic band continues year after year, and we know SingStar fans will be delighted to add this selection of classic tracks to their SingStar collection.
No exact date has been revealed yet as to the release of SingStar ABBA, but it will be coming this winter in PAL territories and the US. Keep it posted here for more updates.
