Reactions were a bit mixed when SCEA officially unveiled the North American box art for Heavy Rain. If you count yourself as among those who hated it, here's some good news for you.
Cristian Cardona, SCEA's associate product manager for software marketing, commented on the US PlayStation blog that gamers who prefer the EU boxart will be able to print out their own. The artwork will be made available on the PS blog when the game nears release, presumably as a preformatted PDF file.
Just for comparison's sake, here are the NA and EU boxes for Heavy Rain:

Also, our nice little detective to the right kind of making him look like a mobster for those who doesn't know much of the game
gosh i hate this country....

Did you notice that both of them are terrible? The US cover is too busy and the EU cover is just plain boring. Even at that I'll still take a decent looking girl over some piece of paper. You gay by chance?
And if you hate the US then get out, simple.

@fearlubu
Dude it's like that all over the world. Sex sells man. The reason they do this is because many Americans love violent games and by putting sex and violence on the cover, it just made the game more interesting.

Just like I said.

I disagree, I like the EU box art. I think it makes it pretty obvious it's a mystery. It's plain enough that it'll stand out in a row of games and it makes you wonder like.. "Wow, I wonder what that's about?"

I think the O.P. was implying he's bothered by the fact that it takes sex to sell a game that is so much deeper than the cover implies. Maybe he's pissed off by the stereotypical responses that are expected from a society that promotes ignorance and everything fast, easy, cheap, and stupid. BTW, this is from a proud American :)

Or, you can say whatever you want and if others don't like it, they can keep it to themselves, freedom of speech baby, freedom of speech.

Try saying crap like that in a fistful of places all over the world and you (or your family) would pay dearly
Enjoy eating those hypocrite-O's?
Freedom of speech works both ways, both sides have their zealots and logical folks. It's the logical ones that are hard to find, since zealots often bark so loudly it makes the entire party look a buffoon.

Good thing about The U.S. is that anyone can have their opinion and because we're not a third world country, yet, people don't have to worry about backlash from what they say, unless of course they make a comment on qj.net. LOL. And speaking of hypocrite O's. wtf are you talking about? The U.S. is THE MOST hypocritical country on Earth. Maybe you should read some history or just follow the news for a day to educate yourself. Besides, what BILL OF RIGHTS? That went out the window with the Patriot Act.......

Maybe it's hypocritical, no, IT IS.
"I hate this country, blah blah blah, but I'm still going to sit here loaf and mooch off the system, and if someone tells me to leave THEN I will bring up the bill of rights, because I hate this country so much but I love the liberties that allow me to sound like a spoiled petulant brat"
If you genuinely think it's that bad here, renounce your citizenship and go to some 3rd world country. Give that a shot for a while. You think the US is oppressive? LMAO Oh the pleasantries that await you.
It's always the sheltered who assume the world is collapsing at the slightest tremor.
Putting the troll in his place aside, I prefer the origami box art.

You sound so much like the Gestapo it's not even funny. You're actually upset that other people have an opinion? Isn't that what freedom is about?; Being able to question things, have an opinion, and dislike the way some things have become?
No you're right. Let's all become mindless zombie clones like you, think like you do, and believe everywhere else is worse. Have you ever even been outside of the U.S. or are you just spewing nonsense at me from the things you see on tv? Hmm? I bet you have an American Flag tattooed right on your ass. No wonder the world thinks we're morons and hates us......
